Mark Ferrie’s first solo album in 20 years (!) was born during the 2017 Rockwiz Orchestra tour. Recorded in hotel rooms and on tour buses while on the road, the album was tracked entirely on Garageband on Mark’s iPad2.

A departure from the bulk of his previous singer/songwriter solo output, On Hold is a groove-based instrumental album, and an unplanned convergence of some of his current obsessions, namely hanging out in the Ethiopian jazz bars of Footscray, discovering the joys of floatation and DJing.
