Sean is the sole member of every iteration of Models, having founded the band in 1979 with Pierre Voltaire (Peter Sutcliffe), Janis Friedenfelds (Johnny Crash) and Ash Wednesday.

Born in Melbourne, he formed Spred (his first band) with school friend James Freud. Spred became the Teenage Radio Stars, and Sean soon left to form the iconic Models.

Over the past 40 years, Sean has formed a number of high profile bands, most notably The Dukes and Absent Friends. He has also been a member of Some Kind of Justice, Interchange Bench, and The Clampetts … in his spare time he can be heard providing backing vocals on Icehouse’s Code Blue and INXS’s The Swing

Sean has had two solo outings, the haunting single Thank You, Goodnight (just before the formation of Absent Friends) and the acoustic album Moons Of Jupiter.
